How Car Shipping Works
Six steps from your first quote request to a signed delivery — and exactly who is responsible at each one.

You send the details
Pickup and drop-off ZIP codes, what you're shipping, whether it runs, and open or enclosed. The quote form recognizes the city from your ZIP automatically. It takes about a minute.

We quote your lane
We price the route against real carrier capacity — not a generic per-mile table — and email you the number with the pickup window we can actually hold. During business hours that is usually within an hour.

We assign a vetted carrier
Before your load is dispatched we confirm the carrier's FMCSA operating authority and active cargo and liability insurance. You get the carrier details and a direct contact for the load. At this point a small deposit is due before pickup to lock the truck in — the rest is paid in cash to the driver on delivery, and both amounts are confirmed in writing first.

Pickup and inspection
The driver inspects the vehicle with you, notes existing condition on the bill of lading, and both parties sign. Take your own dated photos as well — it takes two minutes and settles any question later.

In transit
Carriers cover roughly 400-500 miles a day. Your dispatcher stays reachable 24/7 on (213) 232-2223 and passes on updates as the load moves.

Delivery and sign-off
You or your named contact inspects the vehicle against the pickup condition report, signs the bill of lading, and pays the remaining balance in cash to the driver as agreed at booking.
