Motorcycle Shipping Anywhere in the US

Cruisers, sport bikes, touring bikes, trikes and vintage motorcycles moved with soft ties, wheel chocks and enclosed options.

A motorcycle is not a small car, and it should not be treated like one. We assign carriers who run bike-specific equipment — wheel chocks, soft straps over the frame rather than the forks, and either a crate or a dedicated section of an enclosed trailer.

Whether you bought a bike three states away, are moving house, or need a show bike delivered untouched, we arrange the right trailer for it.

Why shippers use us for this

Soft-tie handling

Straps that hold the bike without loading the suspension or scuffing the tank.

Crated or open

Crating for maximum protection, or secured on a shared trailer to save cost.

Any bike

Harleys, sport bikes, dirt bikes, scooters, trikes and non-running project bikes.

Insured transit

Carrier cargo coverage verified before your bike is booked.

Preparing a motorcycle for transport

Clean the bike so pre-existing marks show at inspection, photograph it from all sides, and remove loose accessories, saddlebags, GPS units and windshields where practical. Leave minimal fuel and disable the alarm.

Fold or remove mirrors, note any leaks, and tell us if the bike does not start — a non-running motorcycle still ships, it just needs to be loaded differently.

Open or enclosed for a bike

Enclosed is the common choice for motorcycles because the bike is fully exposed on an open trailer and there is no bodywork protecting the mechanicals. For a standard commuter bike on a short lane, an open carrier with proper chocks is still a reasonable, cheaper option.

Tell us the model and value on the quote form and we will recommend the equipment we would use for our own bike.

Inoperable units require winch service — it affects your rate.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to ship a motorcycle?

Less than a car on the same route in most cases, since a bike takes far less deck space. Distance, crating and enclosed versus open are the main variables — send the two ZIP codes for an exact quote.

Do you ship non-running motorcycles?

Yes. Mark the bike as inoperable when you request a quote so the carrier brings the right loading equipment.
