Open Car Transport — The Cost-Effective Way to Ship
The industry standard: multi-car haulers, the widest carrier availability, and the lowest cost per vehicle.
Roughly nine out of ten cars shipped in the United States travel on an open trailer, including the new cars delivered to dealerships. It is the most economical and most available way to move a vehicle.
Because open haulers carry seven to ten cars, we can usually find capacity on your lane quickly and schedule pickup faster than any other option.

Lowest cost
The economics of a ten-car trailer are passed on to you per vehicle.
Fastest to book
The largest pool of carriers means shorter waits for pickup, even on light lanes.
Dealer & fleet friendly
Multi-unit moves between lots, auctions and rental fleets on one bill of lading.
Fully covered
Cargo insurance applies exactly as it does on enclosed loads.
Who open transport is right for
Daily drivers, family cars, leased vehicles being returned, college and military moves, online purchases, auction wins, dealer inventory and rental fleets. If the car lives outside anyway, an open trailer exposes it to nothing it does not already see.
For a vehicle that is rare, freshly restored or unusually low, compare with enclosed transport before booking.
Multi-vehicle and dealer moves
Moving several vehicles at once nearly always lowers the per-unit price, because a carrier can fill the trailer in one stop. Tell us how many units, where they sit and when they need to arrive, and we will structure the load around it.
We handle recurring lanes for dealers and fleet operators with a single point of contact and consolidated updates instead of separate calls per car.

Frequently asked questions
Is open car transport safe?
Yes. It is how manufacturers deliver new cars. Vehicles are strapped down properly and covered by the carrier's cargo insurance; the only real exposure is weather and normal road spray.
Can I put items in the car?
Carriers are licensed to move vehicles, not household goods, and personal items are not covered by cargo insurance. Some drivers allow a small amount of weight in the trunk — ask before pickup and never leave anything valuable.
